GT series drum scraper dryer
Drum dryer is an internal heating conduction type rotary continuous drying equipment . The rotating drum passes through the lower material groove, and a thick material film is adhered. The heat is transmitted to the inner wall of the drum through a pipe, and is transmitted to the outer wall of the drum. The moisture-containing material is dried. The dried material is shoveled off the drum by a scraper installed on the surface of the drum, to a screw conveyor placed under the scraper, and the dry material is concentrated and packed by the screw conveyor.
◎ High thermal efficiency. Because the heat transfer mechanism of the drum dryer is heat conduction, the heat transfer direction remains the same throughout the operating cycle. Except for the cover heat dissipation and heat radiation loss, the rest of the heat is used for the evaporation of the moisture content of the tube film, and the thermal efficiency can reach 70%. -80%.
◎ Large operation flexibility and wide applicability. Many drying factors of the drum dryer can be adjusted. For example, the concentration of the feed, the thickness of the coating material film, the temperature of the heating medium, and the rotation speed of the drum can all change the drying efficiency of the drum dryer, and many factors are not involved. This brings great convenience to the drum drying operation, which can adapt to the drying of various materials and the requirements of different yields.
◎ Short drying time. The drying cycle of materials is generally only 10-300 seconds, which is suitable for heat-sensitive materials. If the drum dryer is set in a vacuum, it can be operated under reduced pressure.
◎ The drying rate is large. Because the material film applied to the wall of the coating is very thin, generally 0.3-1.5mm, and the direction of heat and mass transfer is the same, the surface of the material film can maintain 20-70kg.H2O / m2.h of evaporation.
The installation of this machine is arranged according to the general plan. The ground should be flat. The pressure gauge and safety valve should be installed at the inlet of the steam pipe. The flanges of each steam inlet should be firmly connected.
Adapt to the material
◎ Suitable for drying liquid or viscous materials in chemical, dye, pharmaceutical, food, metallurgy and other industries.
◎ Regularly check the rotation flexibility of the rotating parts and check whether there is any jamming. Sprockets and other parts should be regularly added with grease, and calibration device errors such as pressure gauges should be regularly corrected. The V-belt transmission has serious wear and should be replaced in time.

Commissioning <br> After the machine is installed, a trial run experiment is required.
◎ Jog the main motor to observe that the main drum is turning correctly.
◎ Observe whether the main drum and each transmission part rotate flexibly, observe whether the steam inlet and outlet are connected, and whether the pressure gauge is within the working pressure range.
◎ Start the motor, the main drum will run smoothly. After the temperature rises, add the material and adjust the motor speed and the uniformity of the film on the drum to control the final moisture content of the material.
◎ Start the auger motor to output the dry finished material, and adjust the speed of the auger motor according to the amount of the dried product.
